The Co-op has been in existence for over thirty years. It has its own classroom located in the Pinewood Elementary School. The Co-op’s mission is to provide a program that is age appropriate and helps children develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually by learning through structured play. Through meaningful play experience they develop concepts and skills basic to the more difficult tasks of learning in later years. The Co-op offers the parent the unique opportunity to see their child interact with the teachers and other children in school. The Co-op is licensed under the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care.
